Second "One Day Without Us" National Day of Action - 17th February

Dear all,
you might remember we supported this DoA last year - on a week day, with a rally in the town centre and a smaller rally on campus. The Chronicle covered it with a centre-fold spread!
This year HQ have decided to hold it on a Saturday, from 11am to 3pm, with speakers (Wera has agreed to attend) and choirs scheduled for 1pm.
The Bath organisers will be holding a cake raffle to raise funds (to cover leaflet and sticker printing, and the cost of the stall licence from the Council). Would we be happy to contribute an amount to help cover the costs? I was thinking £100? More, if we can afford it?

I agree we should support this again, it is an important national day of pride for 'expats' in this country. I would be in favour of giving more, as it costs a lot to run and I understand the organisers paid for a lot of it out of their own pockets last year. I think we have a healthy amount in our account at the moment. If Alison and all agree, I would suggest we contribute £200.

I agree that we should support this and we can afford £200!

Can we have a decision on funding for 1 Day Without Us please?
