How to enable regenerative-circular-micro-economies and green jobs at a local scale? What can be done in residential town centres?
I am working on a pilot Circular Economy Incubator in Dalston - https://www.circularuk.com/. I'm trying to explore how a Dalston CAN (Community Action Network) can be implemented within a multi-use coworking space.

The Circular / HOT project is still in a phase where Zoom calls and emails are much more effective than a discussion forum. I feel that Loomio works best when there is a more established distributed network of people (100+) who are participating in organising an event / conference / festival (e.g. Borderland) and this can be a great tool to self-organise and vote. Perhaps the best way to get engagement here is to organise and host a virtual Alternative UK summit of recorded talks / speakers and Zoom discussions? I'd love to join a conversation / listen to podcast between you and Kayleigh talking about Co-Create Sheppey.

Yes, I like the idea Anton, now that all big gatherings conferences and seminars for this summer are cancelled, it is a good time to plan for a virtual summit.

Why not invite some of your Dalston network in here and see how the idea can grow. if you start with 10 people who know each other well enough to agree on one event, then it quickly becomes 100 - which is the perfect incubator for change.
