Stage 0 - What we have now (General talk)

Most of communication is done without any encryption or digital signatures. Channels and repositories used (mass corporate services, like Facebook, gmail, skype, google) are routinely monitored and hacked by private and state-related entities. Acquired information is retained indefinitely, processed and traded beyond our control and knowledge.

As Rojava supporters in Europe we are dispersed, exposed and unarmed. Any organized and armed entity will have no problem at all to attack us, provided enough intel data. Any political entity, using existing and incoming legal mechanisms, will be able to damage or shut down our communication and information resources in no time at all.

We need separate, secure infrastructure under our control. Still connected to the most popular channels, we shall be safe from direct cyber assault and will manage our privacy independently.
