GUI Tool for managing LVM partitions

Hello,
On Agate and Beryl, there are two disks (/dev/sda /dev/sdb)
orignially /dev/sda2 and /dev/sdb1 are gathered in one single group volume group, containing every partition (logical partions) but /boot (physical partition in /dev/sda1)
For letting ability to easily extend a partition or creating new one, I did not use all the space available on the volume group.
However If I'm used to manipulate LVM volumes throu command lines, it's not so easy to do. The most difficult may be to reduce logical partition if we remove a physical drive. If there is need to extend a logical partition or to create a new one, or on the contrary reduce it, we can do it by command line, or I know only one GUI for it (unfortunately I found no TUI) called system-config-lvm (in GTK+)
We could use exceptionnally connection through a minimalist WM, such as LXDE, to use such graphical tool.

We can even use icewm ...
Is there a real need of installing a WM ? Maybe only X is needed for resolving the dependancies. But it will not be used if we launch the system-config-lvm GUI from a remote host, using the ssh Xforwarding feature.

We can use it with IPMI or a tool like x2go :-)

What about something even more light, such as Awesome or WindowMaker?

The advantage of x2go is that it include librarys for fasting lxde environment.
Of course those other options are also great, window maker was my youth love :)

The tools are installed, the documentation will be added on BBW
