Email responses - Ideally only the actual answer would be posted.

I see that when people reply to their email notifications to post an answer, the entire content of the email gets posted. Would it be possible to have, maybe through xml tags or anything like that, just the actual answer posted, or at least, as little content as possible?

Sorry you're having this problem.
I'll explain:
There is no offical standard or format for how a reply is added to an email. Outlook, Gmail etc, all do this in a different way, and it's very hard to write a program that can be as good as a human at telling where each email begins and ends in a body of text.
However, we're going to fix this! It's in our priorities for next sprint. We think if we add an email template we'll have a constant way to identify the reply portion of an email.
