¿Member subgroup must be a member of the group?
In subgroup configuration option to indicate whether the member of the subgroup must be a member of the group
Maybe this is something the group should be able to decide? I know for my community, it probably would be best if subgroupers were groupers.
@jacobgadikian in that case, invite everyone you want in the parent group, and only add subgroup members from the tickbox list of parent group members.
@alanna I refer to the existence of the option of choosing. It can be a group decision forcing subgroups or freedom of decision subgroups.
May be impractical for the group have to check and add members only belong to the subgroup.
It is not very logical that an excluded group member participates in the subgroup because the subgroup configuration allows
We originally developed the ability to add users to subgroups who were not members of the parent group in response to user demand. Many groups have the need to include some people in a subgroup only.
With the option of choosing, in the configuration of the group or subgroup, is satisfied, all possible needs of groups or subgroups, as those mentioned by @alanna
Members of subgroups do not need to be members of the parent group
