Hi all,

It will be great to participate in this new format of Open Co-op too. I believe that this year the event could be a nice opportunity to share initiatives (around open cooperativism) which have been appearing during the COVID19 crisis. In case of Catalonia, it has been amazing the articulation of makers to create a huge number of masks. Or the sector of agroecology reinforcing the local networks (I believe that in UK is relevant the role of Open Food Network in this). In any case, maybe we can dedicate some space to build a repository of initiative to inspire and reinforce cooperation among them.

Hi Ricard - small world!! Hope you're well.

Yes OFN could make for a good session on their inner workings! Does anyone have any links with them here?

Hi Ollie - Nice to meet you here too :)

In Catalonia, the cooperative femProcomuns has opened a wiki space (in Catalan) to collect local initiatives: https://www.teixidora.net/wiki/Fil_sobre_COVID19

Mònica Garriga and David Gómez, who already attended Open Co-op in other editions have told me that in other working spaces such us the CommonsCamp have proomoted similar initiatives.

Maybe, beyond organize a session we can create a space (maybe in a new thread) to try to collect initiatives and interact with other working spaces. In case of CommonsCamp, I could be the connector node :)

Hi Oli,

Further to this morning, I think our procedures are quite similar in actual fact with regard to GDPR provisions.

Things I’m interested in, even at once step removed, I just tend to read when I have the time and ignore at others - keeps me in the loop with SOTA developments.

I fully accept however, everyone is different.
