While these is an already closed Proposal, I would abstained from the voting for it, because basic principals are more of a guiding light or common belief.

If we allow entry on acceptance and then immediately a chance or shot at modifying the same... then anyone can lie and come in and then just move motion to amend, we need to make this more clear or the basic principles to be more basic or simple... i.e. They Should state stuff like move towards abolishing patents rather than be ok with partial abolishment.

@alexandergounder yes that is the point. We decide on basic points and they may join if they agree to the basic points if they have a problem with the basic points they can present their issues. We may either decide to amend it or to ignore the request.

No they can't just change the points the change of points need a high majority support from all of the party. Just like it is to modify a manifesto. to adopt or drop a principle we will need a very high support a near 100% condition. ie : 90%++

These rules wont be at play when we are a party so we dont have to go long term, party rules will be monitored by the constitution.
