edit: new poll about voice meetings
It is suggested to have all next TC meetings at 17.00 UTC on wednesdays instead of 15.00 UTC now. Please confirm your convenience or suggest other time

Proposal by Rxu, would you agree to have regular voice meetings for Cooker meetings (schedule and tools to be established after if accepted, as an example could be Monthly instead of one IRC meeting, with Mumble)

Should not replace all irc meetings as some people are uncomfortable with speaking and listening English, but really usefull to accelerate some processes and help on focusing on projects

i object to it replacing any irc meetings, it's difficult to have a voice meeting during my office hours.

Make official voice meetings would mean keep out not native English speaking people, so yet another discrimination.Unacceptable for a wide-world community.

This proposal will exclude those who have minimal language skiils. As an international distribution we should not do this.

I agree with Raph here irc meetings are self documenting. It also seems to me that most people who don't use English as their native language have a far btter chance of understanding an IRC meeting even if they have to resort to Google translate afte the IRC meeting has finshed. This proposal is about meeting timings it is not about spoken meetings so any votes for another subject are not going to be valid. Hence I shall not vote.

@rxu It seems it's an edited subject but all the mails retain the same subject as the original post hence my confusion. We should not edit Loomio discussions in this way it's potentially very confusing the olnly thing the new subject has in common with the old one is that it's about irc meetings. The previous subject was about timings.
Some people who have already voted may think that they have already voted on the original subject.
I think those who have voted for this should perhaps give it a bit more thought as rugyada is absolutely right.
I will vote in this case just to be sure this doesn't slip through under the wire.

I think that people have given plenty of reasons to not switch to voice. If I were going to attend the meetings, I would switch my vote to no, but will remain at abstain since I won't be there anyway.

Okay, I think this proposal got a bit confused somewhere - it's not on replacing irc meetings, but rather supplementing them.
I think this proposal is dead - I will attempt to clarify my thoughts and post to loomio in a new topic.
