2014.1 codename

RJ Raphaël Jadot Public Seen by 326

Hello,

OpenMandriva 2014.1 is about to be out. It is just a bugfix release, so it doesn't really enter in one of these categories:

https://wiki.openmandriva.org/en/Codename

If no reaction, this should simply keep the codename Phosphorus. Maybe some would prefer something à la MacOS X (like they did with Leopard and Snow Leopard), could be "Glowing Phosphorus" :)

Or something else?

I like that idea. Maybe also we could not do like Apple, and just use a principle of the element, like: Glowing Phosphorus principle is "Phosphorescence" :-)

Why not! Or even Burning Phosphorous. Burning = bleeding edge / up-to-date.

@waynesallee you think it's better keeping the same codename as for 2014?

Ok, now I see that I missed the point. The question is "do we want to use the same code name for two different releases in 2014?"

Yea, adding an additional description to the code name would probably be a good Idea.

Another thought, what about "Phosphorus Glowing"?

Or "Phosphorus Burning".

The idea is do we want the year code name as the first name or second name?

I would think that if we were to have 3 releases, then use "glowing" for second release, and "burning" for third release, but since there will not be any third release, I think "burning" is good for second release.
