Proposed Audit Rules and REQUIRED votes
Here we will vote on new rules for Independent Audit of AI Systems when a new rule is passed, we will have a new version update. ForHumanity Fellows are strongly encouraged to vote on all proposals and to seek out information to have an informed vote. New votes will be launched no more than TWICE per month on the 1st and 3rd weekend of each month and will be open for one week. It is recommended to all Fellows to treat these votes as "required". Comments are welcome and encourage to clarify, propose changes, or to support the vote.

I can't think of any technical reason to oppose, and I'm always for aligning with other legislative bodies. Finally, as long as we have a definition of what we mean by CHILD versus MINOR, then the name is unimportant to me.

As long as it works throughout the IAAIS. It is worth noting that this references consent for data protection purposes (GDPR). It might be worth making it clear in the definition that it is where a person under that age of [X] who might seek to provide a valid consent, such consent is not deemed valid for data protection purposes. Please note there is a distinction between different areas of law.

Proposal for all of IAAIS definition changes - MINOR becomes Child and Child(ren) becomes Child Who Cannot Consent (CWCC). Closed Mon 29 Mar 2021 12:05AM
This vote has passed. MINOR will become CHILD, CWCC will replace CHILD as the terminology of a Child who cannot consent. As some pointed out this is not specifically 13, but it is 13 for the UK and US, we will likely change this definition to something more elegant and more precisely tied to the Relevant Legal Framework to gives us sufficient adaptability.
Current definitions remain the same, currently MINOR = a person, who has not reached the legislated age of majority for the jurisdiction of their residence. This would become CHILD(ren).
The current definition for CHILD(ren) = individual under the age of 13, (Source: COPPA). This would become CHILD WHO CANNOT CONSENT (CWCC), a subset of the new definition.
This change is more consistent with the distinctions in GDPR, and the Children's Code and still fits with COPPA when we use the CWCC distinction. The team working on Age Appropriate Design Code fully agreed with this remedy. If you disagree with this change - please advise why.

V2.5 Contact Tracing Audit Proposal - to UNLOCK the audit. This will serve two purposes: 1) To convert all Digital Contact Tracing Audit Questions to Normative statements (Shall, Should, may etc) 2) To fix all references to "Digital Handshakes" Closed Sun 29 Nov 2020 10:03AM
The Contact Tracing Audit will be unlocked Monday night 11/30 by midnight EST. All critiques and comments will again be welcome in the audit. We will pre-announce the audit going locked again when the updates are completed with one week of notice.
The audit will be open again and all comments and critiques are welcomed and may be changed without a full vote from Fellows. This is to allow the over 250 plus changes coming. Everyone may use this time to re-examine the audit with comments, critiques, and questions.
