Organizing Circle meeting schedule: 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 15 UTC

The Organizing Circle meeting schedule has new hours! We will continue to meet on Thursdays at 15:00 UTC via Jitsi.Meet.Coop.

The schedule is 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. The 1st meeting is for policy and business decisions. The 3rd meeting is a co-working session that creates accountability for completing tasks. The length of the meetings are 1 hour.

Background: The Organizing Circle was created by the Bylaws, yet any member of Social.Coop can create a proposal on Loomio. Most of the OC members' discussions are asynchronous over Zulip, which we started using early this year. The OC began meeting in January 2024; thus, it is in its third year. I note that many members are inspired by principles and practices from Sociocracy.

You are invited to ask any questions about cooperative governance in this thread. I expect that OC members and members of other working groups will be around to answer them and post with some relevant links.

[FYI, update: The Tech Working Group has taken our wiki offline while they upgrade our version of PHP to patch critical vulnerabilities that were in the news yesterday. Yaay!]
