Summer Eco-Festival and fundraiser

As we discussed last year, a festival could help CMC grow get more support and raise some funds for camp. Recently, I was able to get the owners of the beautiful land of the Om festival aka "The Farm", to agree to host such a festival.They were able to regain ownership after the passing of their elder almost caused it to be sold to strangers. The Farm has a forest kitchen, workshop domes, built stages, a big perma-culture garden, a water system and outhouses. It looks like OM will happen again this year, and may (again) be willing to leave the domes, water, kitchen gear in place for July/August if we want to use the land for co-op activities. Maybe an "advanced" camp as well?

EvMC is growing - and is very interested in making this happen (CMC member Yessi is doing amazing work for us). Also, several large co-ops, the co-op education centre, and some Greenpeace folk are keen on joining a festival like this. CMC's role would be mostly holding space, leading sessions, outreaching and helping with the festival infrastructure and land care. We could get summer jobs again and some could stay there if they want.

I am looking for CMC approval to partner with this and allow me to seek funding to help The Farm and the partners to raise some funds to make this possible and help the owner recover from the costs of battling to save the land for Om and others who seek to gather and vision a sustainable thriving future
