The NZ open source/open data/open society/open government world is very active at the moment. The NZ Open Government Information and Data programme is the 'senior' partner in terms of longevity and maturity. The NZ Data Futures Forum report in 2014, which made excellent recommendations about data sharing and re-use, is now being translated into action. NZ Open Government Partnership Action Plan is driving greater civil society engagement in government.
