Unlimited goals sounds good to me

Unlimited Goals, timed games Closed Sat 30 Aug 2014 1:08AM
No Sleep Till Brisbane showed us how exciting polo can be when played with a set time and unlimited goals. It also greatly aids in the scheduling and players know exactly how long they have until they are needed on court. We should run with unlimited goals in the spring tournament.

On the Saturday night (or any other time) could we have a bench game in the pologon form?

I think spring and Christmas should be a proving ground for unlimited goals. after Brisbane I believe this is the way polo with go.
1/ weeker teams get full game time over the weekend rather than playing 7 five minute games. They have time to formulate game play and team work during the game.
2/it is exciting and brings and element of conditioning into the game that was not their in first to 5.

agree with everything but we shouldn't cap the number of teams. If there are more than 12 teams then we can split into am/pm brackets. Wes is onto this.

I think it is realistic to host a smaller tournament(12?), no brackets, unlimited goals, and double elim?
But alternative to double elim. perhaps a best out of 3 series(sorta like in the league)would be a cool change to the standard double elimination if we have time for it.
