Please read the final point about keep this document away from social media to try to cut down the pointless conversations. I encourgae reps to enage with players / members of clubs to help create questions that could help to form the tournament.

Canberra has discussed it and no strong views have emerged

Hi Guys, After a chat with the Dunedinites yesterday I have some very basic feedback, While there was understanding that a lot of time, effort, and money goes into organising kickass tournaments, the general vibe was that long games and fronting up $100 for a tournament was a deterrent for the social level players that the strong majority of our club is.

That said everyone recognises that Australasians is not a social level tournament.

Our current format for social games is still shuffle em up and first to five. Generally no more than 30 minutes per game. For those that watched and played the wildcard in Timaru's worlds in 2016 that format of play was highly enjoyable.

The reasonably serious feedback in WA is that this tournament is way to early and these dates are making it hard for Western Australians to even have the option of going.

On a personal note, I will struggle to attend that weekend.

I’m also struggling to get the club excited about the prospect of going at all, moving to a later date may help me build some buzz.

Yeah I’d really love to see a date change. Western Australia is desperate for a date change. Right now we will have zero interest due to date but if it’s pushed back, we will potentially have 5 west Aussie wanting to participate!

If your club would like a date change then please offer timing that could better suit you.
