Connectors, it's time to opt-in for 2018!

Following the proposal made a few months ago, I am super happy to invite you to take part in the first Opt-in for Connectors.
This process is intended to:
* give each of us a moment to reflect on our past and future involvement as Connectors,
* offer a low friction and clear way to become an Alumni.
Before going through the easy and quick opt-in, I invite you to check the handbook about the role of Connectors:
“OuiShare Connectors are the highly active members that put our mission into action day by day. They are community and/or project leaders who connect ideas, people and organizations around the collaborative economy. They participate in the co-creation of the OuiShare strategy and take part in decision-making processes.”
This translates into one or several focus(es):
* Local Communities
* Knowledge Curation and Creation
* Project Management and Operations
* Endorsing new Connectors
and implies to take a set of required, expected and encouraged actions. See the handbook for more details.
So, how does the Opt-in work?
2 quick steps for you:
Fill in this 12 question survey designed for reflection on the past year and thinking about your intentions for the future,
Once you’re done, please “check” to confirm that you have answered the typeform and that you are opting in for the next year.
Deadline: Tuesday, 9th of January 2018
You have one month to opt-in. Please note that from Tuesday 9th of January 8am CET, all Connectors who didn’t opt-in will receive an email confirming they are now an Alumni Connector and be removed from all the Connectors-only channels.

Thanks Esra for this opportunity to tell you that I won't be opting-in this time. I've joined OuiShare in 2013. It's been an incredible encounter that started with the first OuiShare Fest. It continued with an incredible Summit in Barcelona and many more interactions, summits and fests. I've met amazing people (and love!). OuiShare definitely changed my life :) Time has passed and looking backward, I see that I haven't developed a local community and that my involvement in OuiShare is slowly reducing. I also feel far away geographically, knowing less and less of all the people who have been joining the last couple of years and not much about what is going on. Meanwhile, I get more and more opportunities as a facilitator, a trainer and a teacher and the next 6 months will be fully loaded for me. Therefore, I've decided to hop-off being a Connector. I know we'll keep in touch and for those of you who come to Nice, contact me for a coffee, an expedition within the collaborative or entrepreneurial ecosystem or for a couch. I'd be happy to see you ! All the best to you all, the old and the new Connectors for 2018 ! ;)

Hello universe. I've completed the survey and despite I'm not a 100% in line with expectations, there's still some work I'm doing for which I think it's important to keep the connectorship. It's going to be an important year and I think for me it's going to be important to understand what does it really mean to be part of the family.
Unless there's no rule that really impedes connectors that didn't came to one summit to keep connectorship ...I'm holding on, let's see if the family holds on with me as well.
