In our last meeting my computer crashed again during a presentation...
My ancient computer is impacting not only my productivity and well-being, but causing delays in our meetings 馃檮
So I am starting an Advice process for the purchase of a more recent model. 馃槈
It's been some time since I last bought a computer and I'd love to hear from your experience and wisdom so I can make a good decision for our organization. 馃檹

@Jaiyush Devi I'm responsible for promotion materials, so I need a computer that can handle design and multimedia tasks efficiently.
My current machine runs Windows, so I'm most used to that operating system.

@Takashi Kim ok. Given your role and typical tasks, I'd recommend an Apple Macbook. However if you're really keen on Windows a high end PC like the Dell XPS.

Hey @Takashi Kim Apple refurbished products are great value. You should be able to get a refurbished model with the power you need for <$2,000.

Cash is tight, however we have budget available for you buy a machine.
A refurbished model as suggested by Jaiyush looks like a good option. 馃憣
