Monthly potluck & presentation ideas

After our meeting, we said we would have a potluck meal followed by a presentation or workshop or something that raises awareness of the issues for localizing food, or something that brings us closer together. Ideas welcome. We need to make a decision on what will be the next 3 offerings (Oct-Dec)

I think we had plenty of local food, i think we are all a fairly health concious group most of what arrives will be home grown or home made from good ingredients and perhaps we can just term it ....join us for a Healthy Nourishing Potluck meal .....and that should be sufficient ?

Decide what idea/proposal we want to involve the wider group in, then choose one or more relevant short videos.

This should relate to our CSA which could include local food, nutrition, ecological farming, workshop on how to make a recipe with a local ingredient, YouTube video or TED talk, etc.

It would be great if our potluck could be a theme or have a challenge of containing at least 50% locally grown food. We could at least do this amongst our team but could offer the opportunity up for any participating public.
