There's no real democracy, so, in a sense, those systems reject us. We're essentially a tribal/band species in a large-scale centralized corporatocracy, call it what we will. That’s a raving cognitive dissonance to our very wiring, to say nothing of other dissonances, like this setup and its effects on Earth's natural systems. What does the butterfly effect have to say about things like those? ‘Permian–Triassic Extinction, Reloaded’ maybe?
