Realigning Mbona with our Mission Statement & Code of Ethics

What this is about:
Over the past couple of months, a number of shareholders have been talking about how Mbona might realign more closely with our Mission Statement and Code of Ethics. To capture these conversations, Ralf Tobich (H48) has put together a set of slides that summarise the ideas and themes that have been raised so far.
Ralf has invited shareholders to add their input & ideas. This is not a final proposal — it’s a starting point for discussion.
We'd like to hear your thoughts:
Are there areas you would add to, or subtract from?
Do these ideas reflect your own concerns and hopes for Mbona’s future?
What advice would you offer as we take steps towards shaping Mbona in the way the collective we would like to see it?
This is an opportunity for shareholders to contribute, offer feedback, and help shape the next steps. Please take a look through the slides (attached doc), then share your perspective in this thread.
Thanks!

Thank you, Ralf, for the presentation given. For me, it offers a principled, structured and accountable way forward that is inclusive of all who would like to contribute to the ongoing development of the Ethos at Mbona. Each shareholder is then enabled to add value in the areas that matter most to them, knowing that the overall 'operations' is running smoothly - with the necessary checks & balances in place. I do feel that a "general assessment/current evaluation" needs to first take place, so that the current board and management realize things are not as healthy as they currently think. With these actual results received, the need for change may be acknowledged. My concern lies in the process of CHANGE, that resistance, reactive & protective behavior will probably happen, so the manner in which this is proposed is vital. We want to help. We want to be included. We want to have the operating structure changed to enable better results with more expertise included. With the annual AGM coming up, we can prepare to have the restructuring accepted by compiling a report of the results received from a current shareholder assessment survey. Just some thoughts flowing from seeing the presentation.

I also think that Ralf's slide show is a good start... (now we just need to encourage shareholders to have a look and to provide their feedback)... and - if people aren't looking OR providing feedback - we then need to have a different conversation as to "how" we can encourage / motivate shareholders to get involved.... 🤔. But first things first: a shareholder survey!!

Thanks Ralf. I'm printing out some now (but running out of ink so won't be able to print for everybody) - will have a copy for Bruce & Mark though (and everyone else can fetch theirs online).
