Participatory Tools for Democracy: participatory cultures & processes

OK Oliver Kalleinen Public Seen by 127

This thread is dedicated to a more general discussion of participatory cultures and processes. Here we can discuss for example different governance models for commons related organisations, or case studies for citizen participation in urban development etc.

I'd like to contribute here. Apologies for not being very engaged here yet. My engagement energy and attention has been elsewhere, much of it in Loomio!

Hi Simon, welcome! In our last work-group meeting @alicepriori briefly reported about the ECA Madrid and especially about the session of the Participatory Tools work group. They discussed among others possible governance models for ECA. Somebody mentioned during discussion Sociocracy For me it sounds very similar to holacracy which is better know from the tech/start up scene. Does anybody here has some more practical experience with either of it? Thanks.
