Participatory Map
The ideas behind the map are very diverse. Often we meet and talk about great things in Leeds and the a map could l be the way of locating them and making sure everyone in and outside Green Action has access to that information. Once we have enough things on it, we could even organise a walk through the city...... or make it a Give it a go!
The best thing about the map is that it's PARTICIPATORY. This means that anyone can see it and also edit it (even without creating an account). So, wondering how that looks?

As you can see, I've already started pointing out where our store and allotments are, and added a small description. If you can think of anything others might like in Leeds, go add them!! It could be stores, green spaces, organisations, co-ops, places to go out......
If you want to edit anything on the map, just click on the pencil on the top-right corner. Adding a place is as simple as finding the location on the map, clicking on the marker sign and placing the marker on the right location. It will then ask you for the title and allow you to add a description.
There is lots of advanced options as well, but I would recommend using them only if you're sure of what you're doing, since everyone has full rights to edit the map and could by mistake delete something! If you feel really enthusiastic but don't want to do anything wrong, you could start playing around with the demo option: http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/demo-niac-map_1#8/48.718/3.005
Sooo, now the question. What do you think about it?
