The SSO app

Not sure if this is the best way to discuss this, but it does seem like we may need somewhere to keep all of this in one spot. So, this is a place for everything connected to Marc's effort to create a SSO app (https://wekan.indie.host/b/G4LCutYkTJLhSCAtn/open-app-ecosystem/Tkw9Sk8egsE7mHTE9).

@lynnfoster : I would be really interested to get in touch with the Fairkom group or Roland. Thanks !

Lynn Foster Sun 30 Jul 2017 2:10PM
Sorry Marc, I lost this one earlier! Let me contact Roland and see what is the best way. Or if you prefer, I could invite you to a chat group focused on software interoperability in Telegram that he is part of, and introduce you to him there. It originated as part of discussions related to FairCoop in Europe, but also has expanded to a few groups who wanted to collaborate on software.
I will figure out how to connect you there in any case.

Thanks ! I'm interested to speak about SSO with them as they have deployed keycloak which could make sense for us.

That's real interesting Lynn , is there someone here working on this stack ?

Lynn Foster Thu 27 Jul 2017 9:12PM
Which stack? What I know is Marc started working on SSO (from Communecter code I believe). And Roland has been working on SSO for some months in Fairkom, I have kept that in mind since I knew we would need something like that. :) Did you look at their site? (I haven't studied it yet.)

on the fairkom fairlogin , a lot of it is in German
it looks really interesting , and with what I see all we we need :)
so if it's done , no need to do it again
do you know anyone from fairkom ? @jonrichter

Great ! I have already installed on a test server https://lemonldap-ng.org/documentation/presentation but http://www.keycloak.org/ does the same think so why not ?
@lynnfoster , do you have contacts ?

Lynn Foster Sun 30 Jul 2017 2:22PM
@funkycram I'm going to try to get you into this Telegram chat, but I don't know what I am doing, as usual in chats. :) But then you can speak directly.
You will have to join Telegram and make a public user name, here is info: https://telegram.org/faq#q-what-are-usernames-how-do-i-get-one. I think you will need to provide Telegram with a phone number. Then I'll invite you to the group, it apparently doesn't have a public invite link.
Hope this works! If you don't want to do this, let me know.

Thanks. My Telegram login is @funkycram

Here is another effort you may want to take a look at, @marc26 . This is from Fairkom, a group very involved with FairCoop. Here is what Roland said when I asked about their SSO effort to date.
"What we have achieved is a dashboard connecting to a WSO2 identity server and all accounts mirrored to LDAP, see the image here https://www.fairkom.eu/tags/fairlogin For some reasons we will replace WSO2 with keycloak, it is more community and less company driven open source software. So we are still testing, ETA for production is still 3Qu17. We will invite users with cloud.fair.coop accounts to test it, when available."
If you like, I can ask about source code. Or just put you directly in contact. But all up to you of course.
