Notification Settings - multiple groups
Nic Lane PublicSeen by 45I know you can change email notifications settings, but can you change loomio group ones? ie. loomio inbox/notify on 'x' group vs 'y' group
Just joined this group and you have the initial cleanse of inbox of 'read all' - which should maybe be blank by default [?], so new groups don't look so daunting.
but people in multiple groups must have big scary numbers...
would like if i clicked through to particular group that only those notifications showed up.
Hi @niclane. Have you seen the preferences link for inbox?

You can toggle which groups are listed in the inbox.
The notifications need to be system wide I think, but you are welcome to remove groups from your inbox and just view new stuff from those groups via their group page.

@niclane I don't know about that.. maybe we could have a "looking for inbox settings?" link
We should want to see everything from the groups we are in. But also some way that we can find out about other groups that we would like to be in.
Or are the topics of interest more important than a categorized group.
How would we direct people the things they are interested in without having groups?

Hi @niclane , good questions. We've had various feedback about the inbox feature and I know there are plans to improve it. Hearing what's working and not working for you is helpful.
