Several DSA members are organizing with ShutDownDC to support their "Defend Democracy" planning this election season, and there is appetite from other members to create a DSA affinity group in coalition with ShutDown. Currently there is no individual who has explicitly volunteered to serve as a representative in coalition meetings that will be used to make key decisions, but several members are already actively working with ShutDown and others have expressed possible interest in taking on this role.
