Introductory Experiments

There are hundreds of ways to facilitate group introductions. Introductions can be a chance public speaking, for a storytelling exchange, or for a chance to make a friend. We don't need just one introduction procedure, but experimentation in a community that invites in new members well, encouraging deeper connections and commitment over time.

proposal: in the months of Fall quarter, 3-7 volunteers lead 5-7 introductory experiments, in which they have 15 minutes or less to help participants get to know one another and the group, and feel welcome. Each experiment facilitator gets one 15 min session to set up their experiment, and get feedback on a slack channel thread.
