Hi Guys

Wow what an amazing day and night we pulled off. It could not have gone better, really. Who knew we had it in us?

The cafe was excellent, the art was amazing, the bar worked brilliantly. The music was fantastic, the volunteer management was spot on. The day time music really added to the vibe. The creche ran exceptionally well and was used much more than we anticipated. The sessions ran very smoothly thanks to great room management. Everyone was really committed and supportive in the team. The publicity and coverage we got in the local media too far exceeded our expectations. The sessions were interesting and the help and opportunity given to us from the London team just fab.

I have sent about 50 emails yesterday thanking all people who participated in the day, including photography, speakers, day music. I have not thanked evening acts or volunteers or creche.

Ludi will put on here the final financial figures. When we get them and we can make a decision as to how we mange our surplus.

Thanks again guys, Bradford as usual punching above it's weight.

I got the amount of beer invoice that's due, so I have put up preliminary accounts on Google Docs (Bradford TBC accounts preliminary). It has full detail of transactions and summary for each type of activity. The bottom line is a surplus of £2582.49. It could be changed by £100 if the invoices still due are not exactly the amounts expected. Out of this will come a contribution to replacing the stolen MacBook, so we can think of a final surplus of around £2000 divided equally between TWT nationally and Bradford Momentum. You might like to propose whether this should be reserved for similar events. Well done everyone.

Yes Im hearing it was brilliant. so sorry it was that w/e when I had to be at the Worker Coop Weekend which was also brilliant and really optimistic about young people creating their own modern employment in businesses they control and own. Some of the IT coops are doing really well and sharing their surpluses and working together in big networks, exciting new ways to run businesses.
