WANTED!!!! Welfare Enough Volunteers

Greetings Folks!

This is a call out for volunteers to help us out at Welfare Enough for Burning Nest this year! 

If you are interested, please complete the Volunteer Sign Up We are running 6x 4 hour Sitter Shifts with at least 3 people on each shift, every day from Wednesday afternoon through until Strike on Monday! This leaves us with 100+ shifts to fill! We encourage volunteers from all walks of life, and while experience is nice, full training is provided, and we aim to pair up inexperienced folks with experienced Welfare givers.

We are also looking for some Shift Supervisors! Supervisor Shifts run round the clock from 8-8! What's involved? Attend the 3 shift handovers that happen within the 12 hours (8, 12, 4) and make sure that all volunteers have attended their shift. If there is a no-show (which we are trying our very best to avoid!), help to get the shift covered, or opt to cover the 4 hours yourself. Be available throughout the 12 hours on radio as a point of escalation if one of the Sitters needs assistance. There is no requirement to spend the whole 12 hours in Welfare, you're absolutely able to be out and about resting, eating, workshopping, and enjoying yourself! Complete the sign up form, and indicate that you are interested in Supervisor 😄
