LOCAL TICKETS

PB plan B Public Seen by 385

This thread follows the conversation we had during our last ML call on the topic of local tickets. Considering in the past few years we had an increased number of problems with some locals (finding many sneacking in, a few ones with normal ticket helping others sneak in, and a few others behaving inapropietely), some ML feel we should abolish the local ticket and give access to more low income tickets for locals on a budget. Some other ML feel like we should keep the local ticket but raise the price. Others feel like keeping the ticket at a low price (ex. 50 euros) but, like we did last year, ask people to apply for these tickets submitting a project proposal (art, workshops, barrio etc...).

NOTE: THE DIRECTORS INFORMED ME THAT THEY FEEL LIKE THIS DECISION IS PART OF THEIR REMIT, SO THE GOAL OF THIS LOOMIO-THREAD IS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH OUR OPINION SO THEY CAN MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE.

I don´t see a way, in Loomio, to start a proposal with several options, so please just leave a quick comment below with your opinion (there´s 4 choices explained in the ´previous proposals´on the right of your screen).

Thank you!!

Abolish local tickets but have more low income tickets available. Closed Wed 1 Feb 2017 1:37PM

This means getting rid of the local ticket too court, but let locals on a budget know that they can apply for a low income ticket.

Keep local tickets but raise the price (ex. up to 80 euros) Closed Wed 1 Feb 2017 1:40PM

This means keeping local tickets but having them more expensive (hoping people won´t buy one for just coming one night)

I think 50 is really low, I lean more to Bruce's idea to make it 80. But if it keeps 50 I agree as well

I think agree with both raising the price to 80 than taking the ticket away and make more low income available.

Not sure how to add another proposal, but my other view is:
Make local's Euro 80 and then next year merge it in with the normal low-income system
