'Question' threads types?
If I want to ask a question (for example, "Does Loomio have decision-making REST API"?) Starting new general thread feels too much. Is there 'Questions' functionality I miss (like local 'Stack Overflow')? If no, are there plans to introduce it?
that's phenomenal @robertguthrie - look forward to the options. You might want to checkout the way asana are using templates when you start a new project, might be some good inspiration for your templating system.

But this should not be pre-selected type by initiator, but rather option of different views/renderings one could choose as viewer...check implementation on Slashdot!
Thanks - I imagine the default would be selected by the thread author and users could change it for themselves.
@dmitryparamzin - Hah, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this one. Yes we have plans to support a simple version of this.
When you start a thread you'll be able to select a "mode" for it.
I'm thinking
- Linear (ie: Chronological, a flat set of replies),
- Branching (ie: Nested, where you can reply and nest replies as much as you wish),
- Best Answer (where responses are sorted by score, and score is a computed by thumbs up minus thumbs down)
