6/7/18: @MARealtors Day on Beacon Hill
Fellow real estate innovators, how does your perspective align or differ from @MARealtors on key issues they're discussing with state legislators? From my perspective,
Support Housing Production
-Oppose Real Estate Transfer Taxes
-Oppose Mandatory Energy Scoring
-Oppose Regulation of Short Term Rentals
It's fair to say that housing took center stage during the first half of 2018 on Beacon Hill. What to come hear Governor Charlie Baker address this influential trade association, even if you disagree with their legislative positions as I do?
Here's the blurb from their site:
The 33rd annual MAREALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill is scheduled for Thursday, June 7th at 10 a.m. in the Massachusetts State House Great Hall. Once again, Realtors® will have a chance to network and enjoy a continental breakfast starting at 9:30 a.m. before learning about the key legislative issues in 2018 that will affect the real estate industry and private property. Attend Realtor® Day on Beacon Hill to get up close and personal with legislators and make an impact on the legislative process. Local associations are encouraged to meet with their legislators following the speaking program. Do not miss out on this opportunity to show that Realtors® are directly involved in the legislative process!
