Map for Caravans

SG Sally G Public Seen by 11

I started this map on a Web site I found: here is the “about us” description: Click2Map is a new Rich Internet Application (RIA) developed by Click2Map SARL, a [F]rench Web company. It is easy to use, I set up a free account; so far, I have not figured out if there is a way to work on or see the map without user name/password; when it is ready for prime time, I THINK we can embed it (if that is the right term) in our Web site. It seems that click2map may also have smart phone apps.

Hoping this attachment works; my latest version.

Is it possible to add the Northwest? Toad.

Actually, that has been done; sorry for not posting earlier. Some of the IO folks have been asked to embed the map in our Web site, http://www.interoccupy.net/natgat2014; I am hoping that it will update automatically, but unsure of that at this point. Here is the latest version.

something is weird; I am not seeing my profile image, nor option to add photo; will try again; Seattle has been added, so will post when I can. Same browser, not sure what is going on.

Weird; they are all back, including the clip for attachments; I went to my profile and updated. Here is Seattle (no guarantees of such speed all the time! ).

The link here http://interoccupy.net/natgat2014/ for the caravans only goes to an event for the northeast. & I do not see the map easily.

Thanks for the link, Julia; The link I just posted is to a screen shot of the map, with the Northwest in focus (just being hours ago now, of course).

@Julia, thanks for reminding about the link - do you mean the one that is the hotlinked word caravans under special projects?

I cloud add something like "I-80, I-5 NW, I-5 So-Cal, SE" and hotlink each to the facebook page - or should we link to here (caravan group)? a little scary in here for folks just looking for info ;)

We could get rid of the Rides, Supplies & More tab on top and make a Caravans page, but since it's not interactive, it would just be updated info. (which could be helpful)
Kinda think the face place and twitter are ideal for caravaners.

Another option (to dream and wish and vision for) is our stand alone website which I think can hold interactive forums and such, but is not active. It needs content and techs.

I am pretty sure Dallas said it was ready to go, but needed content. Seems a shame that it sits there mostly developed. I've put out some feelers today to techs to pass word in tech circles.

I think linking to Facebook pages makes more sense than linking to here—although we might include this as well; Toad has jumped in and become active on Loomio.
