Birgit Bachler

SJ Sophie Jerram Public Seen by 13

Hi all. Not sure if anyone saw Birgit's show Copy Wildly at Toi Poneke but it was ace. One of the works is a neon sign originally designed not for a gallery but a window. It is a neon sign about 2 m across that reads STILL. It lights up when there is silence (a sensor could go through the door to the outside street). We had thought about it being a superb display for Tory St - as a way to get the window looking more interesting. Can we trial it at Tory st for a month and potentially for longer?

Let's get in in there! Prob last week of April

She will install and work out the sensor. We will try this for a month and see how it goes before we commit long term.
