Meeting frustration as an issue everyone can relate to

#Idea: Use meeting frustration as a phaenomenon to frame the TEDx.

If you have a look at discussions on social media that are dealing with meetings & productivity you'll see that there is a lot of anecdotical wisdom and also a lot of contents like : "5 tips for more effective meetings" - and they are generating a lot of comments.

Offering solutions to meeting frustration certainly does seem to be popular. I noticed that one of the TEDx talks did a nice job of focusing on such frustration and both offering solutions and explanations for why those solutions work. http://tedxtalks.ted.com/video/TEDxHampshireCollege-Jay-Vogt-T
What I liked about how he did it was that he seemed to avoid 'jargon' and focused on the results and the way to achieve them - for example, at one point he was talking about Appreciative Inquiry but did not call it that.
So in terms of ideas -
1) what works
2) in what situations, and
3) why it works

I loved Jay's TedxTalk, I saw it a while back and followed up by e-mailing him to congratulate him and connect. We are not currently in touch, but maybe he would be interested in contributing to this project?

I too found it interesting how he avoided jargon and labeling.
