New name for this core team?

Some variation on farm or food direct to customer or linking farm to consumer?

Heres some names suggestions from Muza, Pirongia Mountain .....Bio Aotearoa CSA or Bio-Permalithic CSA

I am of the view that in keeping with Wairarapa, for our region we go with the name Waikato Eco Farms CSA and then as other regions follow suit they can be identified by their known region to give a sense of a unified movement. The Core Teams can be identified according to their region eg Waikato CSA Core Team.

I agree with Waikato Eco Farm CSA, unified movement for each region. Keep it simple and easy to get. As for core team name happy to go with most voted name.

It may not be one farm though, but several, we don't know yet... Besides, I thought this thread was for ideas for "not a name for the initiative itself but for us as a core team". We can only come up with the name of the initiative once we work out what it does.

Names for the core team could be things like: steering group, or facilitation team, something like that. It should reflect the role that we want to play.

Yes the Csa here will most likely be supplied from a variety of properties. I have read that if the Name of an organisation conveys what they are about its more effective way of advertising and becoming known. As for the core team, yes i think CSA Facillitation Team clearifies our role better than the words Core Team do.

I'm happy with "Start Up Team" because that is what we're doing. Although we are facilitating the start up, the word "facilitation" also is a term used for those who are helping to manage group process and meetings. In my profession, it has very specific connotation that perhaps could cause some confusion.

Yes, CSA Strar Up Team. That is what we are. Keep it clear and simple.
