Subjective or inner life in the New Economy
Hi everyone I thought you may be interested in this idea of returning acknowledgement of, and engagement with, our inner lives in endeavors to make positive change in the world.

Good morning Manfred thanks for your kind words - I'll link you into our loomio group and you are most welcome to engage there, you'll see a number of different threads, please respond to conversations or make new threads. We are having monthly skype/zoom meetings which you are also welcome to join, I'll send you an email about that, though please don't feel obliged as it might be a bit tricky from where you are? Kind Regards, Patricia

Hi Everyone I was just at the New Economy Network of Australia's Conference in Melbourne Australia: https://www.neweconomy.org.au/conferences/2018-conference/
I've been facilitating their Inner Dimensions Hub/working group and tried something new in my presentation about this aspect of the New Economy, where after contemplative practice we did the Tower and Marshmallow exercise - a group exercise (often used in management/leadership workshops) to build a tower out of dry pasta that will hold a marshmallow: https://www.ted.com/talks/tom_wujec_build_a_tower?language=en May sound strange in this context but I wanted to give participants an experience of group work (18 minutes) so they could experience the inner dimensions of this and it seemed to work well!

Dear friends I recently attended the New Economy Network Australia (NENA) conference in Brisbane Australia, where 300 wonderful people shared their ideas and projects across a range of themes: https://neweconomy.org.au/ I facilitated a working group: "Subjective experience in the New Economy" and this is a video of my 15 minute presentation, which I thought you might be interested to have a look at: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-1hm8Teom0RZ2FIcnd2SFVhTlE While I use the word 'subjective' - I describe my understanding of this aspect of our experience as inner and outer, with each inter-meshing the other. Having said that we are thinking of changing the name of our working group because of the implied dualism. Looking forward to your responses, plus if you would like to link in with our page on loomio please send me your email address. Kind Regards, Patricia
