In my group many parallel threads are created. Some are more important than others, but they all end up losing on other pages as new threads come.
My suggestion is that there is an option to mark "important" a discussion to always stay on the first page.
With this option, a new member shall be informed of the most important and necessary threads.

@matthe Not realy. Think in a new member that must read one or more thread about our rules and how to parcipate.
Pinning discussions is on the roadmap. And part of the plan for Loomio 1.0. Have a look at loomio.org/roadmap and feel free to vote on your most wanted features
