Organizing for Abolition; #FreeThemAll from the US to Palestine

Event Description: Facebook event link

What would prison abolition look like in your city? In Palestine? Join our Free Them All campaign on Saturday October 17th for a teach-in and strategy workshop to learn about local abolition organizing and congressional advocacy as we call to free all prisoners, from the U.S. to Palestine.

As COVID continues to put prisoner lives at risk, we will share tools, resources, and stories on campaigns to Free Them All from ICE detention centers, city prisons, jails, and correctional facilities, and how we can organize here for the release of Palestinian children and other political prisoners in Israeli jails and in military detention. When our tax dollars are invested in the brutal Israeli military occupation and in prisons and detention centers in our communities in the U.S., we lose opportunities to build the world that is invested in the safety and well-being of our communities.

So join us on Saturday October 17th, 12:30-2pm ET to learn both from our speakers and from each other in regional break out groups as we build up our organizing and advocacy skills, and network and communicate together to share strategies to Free Them All from the U.S. to Palestine.

Seems very low bar to co-sponsor, even if wg is unable/unwilling to mobilize.
