Vote on endorsed D.C. Council candidates for national endorsement
The votes in this thread are to approve sending applications for Janeese Lewis George and Ed Lazere to the DSA National Electoral Committee so that the committee can consider both candidates for national DSA endorsements. This approval process is required by the bylaws.
If approved, Stuart K. will be the designee for submitting all application materials for the national endorsement process.

A 'yes' vote on this question will approve sending an application to the DSA National Electoral Committee for Janeese Lewis George to be considered for a national DSA endorsement. If approved, the 2020 D.C. Council Elections Working Group will send application materials. Stuart K will coordinate with working group members to draft and submit all application materials.
As required by the bylaws, the Steering Committee must vote to approve candidate applications for national endorsement. More information about the DSA National Electoral Committee is here: https://electoral.dsausa.org/
