Great question. I would suggest you just
git pull origin master
bundle exec rake db:migrate

You might need to use
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake db:migrate

depending on how your server is setup.

David, you'll also want to setup a reply-by-email gateway. Which I've not
published documentation for yet!

It's the first thing we've packaged as a Docker container though, so it
should be relatively easy to deploy.
Are you able to install Docker on your server, (or another server) with
port 25 available?

You need to commit your changes first with

git add .
git commit -m "my config changes"

then git pull
