GIAG October 2015: "How local can you get?"

AVD Andrea Vidal Durà Public Seen by 166

Hi folks,

We started this morning a brainstorming about the GIAG. The LUU asks all the societies to plan it very in advance. That means MONDAY the 11th!! So we are running quite late but we still have time to write a short proposal to go through :)

We briefly talked in the last AGM about the last GIAG asd people was quite happy with the food scheme. So we will stick on that traying to be more organised this time. The idea is do a Green Action food session were everything (or as much as we can) has to be made in Yorkshire!! That means that we can have bread from the Bread coop, may be some fresh stuff from the allotment or also preserved food (allotment people: what you can provide?), chutney, cheese (if vegans are happy with that), etc...

Please start to discuss!! Myself and Joy will meet on Monday morning 9am at the School of Earth and Environment to write the application form and submit it in the LUU.

Cheers! and Happy sunny day

I think it easy not to cook during the session. Therefore we will need a simple venue and we won't need risk assessment or anything that complicates the procedure...
