Loomio - Telegram integration

I'm keen to find out if people are interested in a product offering of something like gluu + loomio + (other things) for a yearly fee of something like $500 to $1000. Hosted on your own VPS in a datacenter of your choice.

We could offer use of a subdomain like yourorg.loomio.net or custom domain, including managed updates and backups, however we would not provide "full" support such as anti spam or attack support like we do with loomio.org.

From my experience, the activity of a public organization begins with a meeting of people. Next, they choose a service for communications. Often choose a messenger.

Next, the group needs for decision making. Loomio is the best for it. But it would be more convenient for the group to make a decision without leaving the messenger. LoomioBot should solve this problem. Users lose links and forget passwords. Young people don't like email. And Slack is more focused on the IT community.

Further, the group increases in size and enters the system work. There is a question of financing. One of the answers is membership fees. Payment service is chosen in the country. Among the selection criteria:

• ability to invoice via messenger
• the ability to manage users in Loomio via API (in accordance with the membership fees)

More universal solution is to manage users in all web services of the organization using LDAP.

I think​ this is universal set of services for a membership organization.

It would be really nice option for us here. I quess that our 500 members of the community Urban Space 500 will appreciate that kind of integration possibility. And for now we're one of the biggest communities that deciding to make descision in loomio here in Ukraine. And we're trying to explaine them that we're here for development of innovations in the descision making process within Ukraine. Even if it hard to vote for them here.

Good to hear. We've got our Microsoft Teams integration in beta testing.
I think we'll be adding Facebook and Telegram integrations with the same functionality soon.

@robertguthrie I hope you're also considering Matrix. For one thing, Matrix is all about bridging between different protocols, and given that it has Telegram bridges, and bridges to other proprietary protocols and silos, it could actually serve as an integration gateway!

Exactly! Plus, Loomio is libre software, Matrix is libre software. Many groups, mine included, use Loomio for this reason, and thus would not use slack etc.

@madduck at this stage we only building integrations that customers pay us for. Hopefully soon we'll be able to afford to be ahead of the game there. However, I agree with the sentiment.
