I'm sorry, I planned to call in last night Jane but forgot at the last minute. I'll join for Pulse on Sunday. Lockdown has addled my brain....Incidentally, Loomio is getting on my nerves-it keeps asking for my password to respond to your emails. Not complaining, but it's a bit tiresome.

Just attended the excellent Grassroots webinar with Will Hutton and Gina Miller - both see Rejoin as a distinct possibility within the decade. Very uplifting and motivational - 500 in attendance. Yorkshire Bylines' Digby Jones Index got a mention and I thought you might be interested. It's basically calling Digby Jones out for his false promises https://yorkshirebylines.co.uk/the-digby-jones-index/

I attended the first half of this. As you say Will and Gina were very good, though maybe they were just a bit too optimistic.

Then I attended the Cambridge for Europe talk with Deborah Mattinson who talked about her research on the red wall. Gosh what a contrast! She was quite pessimistic, the red wall aren't going to change no matter how bad Brexit is, almost saying we should give up (and she said that she is a strong remainer). I had some doubts on her methodology and I think a couple of things she said were wrong, nevertheless it was all a bit sobering compared to Will and Gina.
