Lily Thu 29 Apr 2021 6:57PM
hey, when do we want a debrief of the 2021 EFF? Monday eve? STJCC zoom?
BTW, I have created an Emergency Food Forum group on Action Network and registered both the EFF and EJFN groups as partners on Action Network (we didn't do that before and it really hampered our ability to do much on the Action Network).
Who wants to be organizers on either (or both) groups on Action Network? We should have several people as organizers for each group.

also, this piece in atmos today really hitting right about now as the thunderstorm roars:
"Every year for tens of thousands of years, the Lakota people have gathered in the Black Hills of South Dakota during the Spring Equinox to welcome back the Wakinyan Oyate, the Thunder Beings. Welcoming back the thunder is not just a solemn rite of reverence -- it's also about showing gratitude and passing on tradition.
Even at its most devastating, the storm presents us with an opportunity. It’s a chance to build back better, to make things right, and to appreciate what we’ve been given. We are imperfect humans, flawed by design—but that doesn’t mean we cannot be powerful conduits of change in our own right. We can heal the land and water. We can save the planet. One earnest voice crying out is enough to shake the very foundations of the corrupt system that’s led to our imminent demise."

Facilitator's sheet is updated just scroll down to the last page "session 3" :) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E-bib0w77nGgv2BSUpka07Dieq_kCObL9ghvpM_3KUM/edit?usp=sharing
Yasmine Wed 28 Apr 2021 3:45PM
I think that makes sense, maybe you could give an example of how multiple people can add info to the same row like (as an example in itself lol) "when our co-op had a need to provide culturally relevant food to our community members of Black and African Descent - this would go in the first column. And then Black food toronto and Afri-CAN Food Basket could say "hey we do that!" and put their name in the third column"

Dragoș Wed 28 Apr 2021 3:02PM
oooooooh ok ok ok -- this was my understanding of it that I wrote down in my notes
"they’re broken down into needs/opportunities, strategies being taken, and organizations currently doing this work. There is also an events tab where you can add upcoming events you know or have heard about!"
^ this makes sense to me but I guess it's not what we were aiming for?
Yasmine Wed 28 Apr 2021 3:00PM
I was thinking about this too! I am trying to remember but if I remember correctly (BIG IF) the first "name/org/strategy" is for those who are seeking/offering support whereas the second one would be filled out by someone else being like "oh xyz are who are doing this work already or who may benefit from this work"
Does anyone else remember? Does this sound correct? If so, we should probably include some clarifiers and maybe we can make the first two columns slightly tinted in one colour and the 3rd column slightly tinted in another colour for differentiation

Dragoș Wed 28 Apr 2021 2:30PM
one q:
i'm having a hard time articulating the difference between "Name/org/strategy to offer" and "Groups/orgs already connected to this work" -- especially since the former category is not really filled in from last year...maybe because these are so similar, folks will just pick one to write the organization/group doing this work?
wondering if we could change the wording of one of them to further differentiate between the two?

Dragoș Wed 28 Apr 2021 2:25PM
you're amazing lmao i just logged on to do this -- a wonderful surprise
Yasmine Wed 28 Apr 2021 1:56PM

Hi, thanks Yasmine and Lily. I have our housing co-op AGM tonight at 6:30-8:30, I will aim to jump in to the EFF planning meeting too, though it would be a good idea for me to join for when you're discussing points that are relevant to where I can contribute best. Is there an agenda that I can view, so I know what time I should come to discuss the 3rd session planning at?

let's have a forum meeting this Monday (i.e. today) at 7:30pm. yasmine, can you set up the zoom?
Susanna Sat 24 Apr 2021 12:28AM
Hi all, when is the next planning meeting? It looks like there's perhaps some sizable work to be done on planning for the last call, on Miro I can see there's an outline of the event but no goals set and I can't find an agenda anywhere either. I am not reliably available over the weekend but I'll check back here early Monday in case there's a meeting scheduled for then. Thanks!

Susanna Thu 22 Apr 2021 2:01AM
Is there a set date/time for when we meet next to plan the 3rd call? I assumed that we weren't going to figure it out on the after-party zoom at 9:30pm since less than half of us were still there.
Susanna Thu 22 Apr 2021 2:11PM
Yes! Our friend Laura Reinsborough is the ED of that organization. She founded Not Far From The Tree here in Ontario but moved out East a few years ago. It's a great guide!

why coalition advocacy matters and something to celebrate for once:
Farmers for Climate Solutions (FCS) is a farmer-led national coalition of 19 organizations, including the NFU. In consultations in recent months and in a detailed Task Force report, FCS called on the federal government to spend $300 million on six new policies to help farmers reduce emissions. Today’s budget document includes many of the programs requested by FCS. Similarly, the Budget reflects requests that the NFU made to the Minister of Agriculture in recent meetings.

Hi all, just a quick communications note: if everybody who's able to do so can send a note, an email, post on their socials about tomorrow's forum - we set tomorrow as the LAST DAY to register for this entire event. fiddled with timing to see if it's better with the break coming after Round 1 -at 8pm? either way we need to post this sometime today maybe take most of the times off too... distracting
josephine grey Tue 20 Apr 2021 4:50AM
neva mind was overlap not doubled....my bad.
josephine grey Tue 20 Apr 2021 4:49AM
need to post amended agenda - found a timing problem- we doubled up the overviews and are 10 minutes short! oops!

from the 2021 Fed budget: progress....
josephine grey Tue 20 Apr 2021 4:39AM
I tweaked the agenda so that the break occurs while Susanna is setting up the rooms. now we have 15 minutes for the second round report back and can end at 9. We can suggest people to think about/write down key ideas for solutions while on break if they want to. maybe play music? The picture book reading is sweet, but agenda is too tight imo- inspired me do want to do a think tank session on water and the food system... the book and pledge would be perfect for that.. i forgot to hit send this afternoon.... sigh not my best day

yeah, I think we might not be needing a proper exercise at all, then! esp since we were struggling to find more time to add in our last meeting
josephine grey Fri 16 Apr 2021 11:51PM
i think ppl would rather organize than exercise in the break out rooms... imo we can cover the break /room prep with a slide of the portal page and some music, an invitation to privately write some key points they want to offer -if they want/can- all action all the time...lol
to launch break outs imo we need a few ground-rules,-1 minute, and very brief intros - there are many seasoned active adults involved esp call 2

the pledge:

Dragoș Fri 16 Apr 2021 2:57PM
my first thoughts on the exercise:
1 - I like what Lily said about being more engaging this time and not having that dead air that can be a bit alienating. So I thought we'd switch up and do something a bit different -- I thought we'd read a picture book together!
This book is called "We Are Water Protectors" and I just watched a video (bottom of the page I linked) where the author reads it over zoom in ~5 minutes and then the illustrator takes folks through the pledge at the back of the book, which I also thought could be something we might want to do!
Check the video at the bottom of the page I linked above from ~9 min to ~13 min mark -- do you think something like that could work well?
Anyone could be the reader! We could even read it together, where whoever is moved to speak just comes off mute and reads the words on the page (there are few) -- I've done it this way in the past, though, and it's a bit hectic.
2 - Another idea I had came from my not having as many ideas as I usually do! The time constrictions of having to start and complete an exercise that's meant to be critically engaging in only 5 min can be a difficult task, so I thought it might work better if we plan to do the exercise in the breakout rooms. We would all be doing the same exercise but related to our own topics -- I don't know exactly what that exercise will be yet, but I thought I'd run these 2 ideas by all y'all!

Great job! thanks Susanna! i have a couple of suggestions - like deleting more of my bumbling intro, using the open letter when i talk about it instead of more hr slides, (so sorry, i wish i had been screen sharing (sigh)... and maybe a slide of links etc after Yasmine at the end while I am talking but not on screen (oh dear) at closing. and two places where interruptions were disruptive. At the start of Carolynnes' talk, and when Nolan was presenting his break out group... possible?

Hi all, you can find the recording and the chatbox text here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/134czzTMEgL86bcohrTWjalEivHdVmCvB?usp=sharing Note that the recording started a little into Jo's speech which is a bit cut off, it's not the worst but I could also chop and edit it a bit to rearrange some pieces with a bit more time. I added a slide with the breakout room topics during Dragos' explanation of the exercise, and Jo's slides during her talk, and obviously cut out the deadweight in the middle where we're breaking or doing breakout groups. LMK your thoughts.
Chatbox text is in .txt file format.

Happy event day, everyone! Feeling pumped this morning.
We are at 115 registrants, $300 and 39 responses to our survey - yay!
I put a reminder to register out on the FB event page. I was planning to schedule a post to go out early this afternoon reminding people to fill out the survey also - let me know if that's okay. It may be reaching folks who haven't registered yet, but the wording would be something like "if you're already registered on Eventbrite, have you filled out the survey yet?" and explaining the importance of doing so.

Propose constitutional or legislative reform to protect the primacy of human rights.
Increase participation of those most effected in the process of claiming human rights and remedies and defend them from retribution.

Engage communities and organizations in participatory research and evaluation; to document and report the impact of economic agreements and decisions on human rights conditions; to inform the public, governments and human rights commissions.
Establish human rights standards and mechanisms appropriate to different environmental and cultural contexts for holding governments and institutions accountable.

i locked the structure of the EFF Sessions Miro board, so it can't be accidentally changed, moved, shifted or deleted. that should give facilitators & note-takers peace of mind when we are taking notes in the miro.
i also deleted everyone's test notes...except for Juan's cute cat!
also, i meant to point this out yesterday: in the left-hand bar of the Miro board (where you can choose stickies or text or shapes, etc), there are three dots at the bottom. clicking on that gives you more options, including a mind map format, which may be useful!
feel free to experiment, but please remember to delete your experiments afterwards, so we have a clean slate for wednesday.

key questions from last year: fyi ...
What is happening? What do we expect to happen? Context
How has Pandemic affected the food system
What are some solutions that arise from what’s being learned?
What do we need to do to enhance food security and justice?
o What do we have to work with now?
o What’s missing?
o Visions of the ideal (future)
o Reconciliation with the land
How do we begin to make it happen with the collective power in this room?
How do we cultivate urban-rural relationships to scale up resilient food system innovation?

Dragoș Tue 13 Apr 2021 2:43PM
ofc if u want to bring up a possible "opportunity" 😏
"The radical of valuing all labour (or time) equally seeks explicitly to recognize and value the unpaid time that people spend maintaining their neighbourhoods and caring for others. Thus, voluntary work is rewarded and so incentivized (rather than squeezed out by the conventional economic system which accords it no value)
Time Banks aim to overcome the ‘green niche’ limitations of LETS by being based in mainstream institutions (health centres, schools, libraries), paying coordinators for development and support work, and most importantly, for brokering transactions between participants"

Dragoș Tue 13 Apr 2021 2:41PM
lovely -- can't wait to see what y'all talk abt and come up with!
Lily Tue 13 Apr 2021 2:40PM
totally agree, dragos! i am facilitating that topic and that is exactly what i had in mind :-)
having said that, while we do need a glossary, i hesitate jamming it with too many terms and definitions. i think we should find some balance between having a shared understanding of important terms and being too prescriptive in determining the meaning of loaded terms.

love the glossary idea -- strongly dislike wages and wage-work in general. one reason is that it is still very much within the capitalist idea of labour, making wage-work inherently exploitative and I don't think in keeping with our human rights lens.
i would love for whoever is facilitating that breakout group to try and tease out another way of thinking about work, and even perhaps come up with a term we can add to the glossary that does what the terms "living wage" and "fair wage" can't. here are some loose notes i took on an article earlier this week that could be useful in generating some questions for that group:
Alternative systems of provision, with associated social and economic institutions and infrastructure, require a foundation in alternative values, development goals, motivations and definitions of wealth
realigning of development priorities away from the primary goal of economic growth
environmental wealth, and the value of the labour of social reproduction which sustains communities and families, must be recognized, accounted for, and protected in order to strengthen inclusive, resilient communities and so support the market economy which rests upon this bedrock
requires a redefinition of ‘work’ to value the unpaid work in society alongside formal employment
the benefits of decentralized social and economic organization and local self-reliance in order to protect local environments and economies from the negative impacts of globalization
the design of exchange mechanisms builds in particular purposes and characteristics to each type of money → the type of currency itself has built into it a kind of value system
SO let's design one together with the right INTENT, which is to value all work, not just the work capitalism deems useful!

thats a great idea! aka evolving glossary lol
Yasmine Tue 13 Apr 2021 2:39AM
I was thinking about the wages convo and read here that they have different definitions
Living wage: min wage for basic needs in an area
Fair wage: min wage for an occupation, typically tradeworkers rights etc. and tied to unions
https://cupe.ca/minimum-living-and-fair-wages-whats-difference
Maybe the registration package includes a living dictionary that i/we could update and change as we go?

Lily Mon 12 Apr 2021 5:48PM
yes, we are having a tech run at 7pm tonight. i think susanna sent out the link?
Yasmine Mon 12 Apr 2021 5:06PM
hey folks, I can't find it in my email.. our next meeting is today? at what time? Should I make a link?
josephine grey Mon 12 Apr 2021 5:32PM
cyberspace community centre?
Lily Sun 11 Apr 2021 3:38AM
i made a page for forum participants: https://ecojustfoodnetwork.org/emergency-food-forum-community-centre/. the password is 2021FoodForum. i called it the Emergency Food Forum Community Centre. hope that's ok!
we can give that password out to forum participants so that they can enter the page. from there, they can go to basecamp, loomio or action network (not the open letter sign in page but to access the action network account, if they want to be a co-sponsor of the letter in action network and help to promote it through there).
the button "Read the Forum Notes" is not active because i don't know where to link it to yet.

useful guides re the UN summit process - i think using the goals and tracks can simplify our planning/breakout process and be able to engage with the UN summit at the same time.
josephine grey Mon 12 Apr 2021 4:22AM
it's anonymous so that's ok too... just retract the ultimatum? Or we only have 17, could add a question re contact info but then it's not anonymous for most but a few, does that matter?
josephine grey Mon 12 Apr 2021 3:50AM
uh oh! delete "only" re z-link? ... will just have to give link to all who have a ticket, so to get more responses we can ask again when we send out a prep reading package, monday eve? teusday am? and if still more are needed - during 1st call - we report on what have so far and it will update itself- can review 2nd call if we want..
That's ok because we are giving people til 2nd call to register so new surveys may come in over the week
Lily Sat 10 Apr 2021 2:11AM
i think we have a problem regarding the pre-registration survey: we have no way of knowing who completed it and who hasn't. we only know the number of people who have completed the survey. we are telling people on eventbrite that their registrations are only complete once they fill in the survey and we will only send the zoom link to those who have done it....

yeah, for sure!
Andrew Paton Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:39PM
No, I mean on the Eventbrite page itself (https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/2021-emergency-food-forum-tickets-149784452329) If people want additional information on the event, and happen to be at the Eventbrite page, there's no way to get to the EJFN webpage directly from there. I think it would be useful, what do you think?
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:35PM
by eventbrite, do you mean the mailchimp email? if so, the big image links to the EFF webpage.
Andrew Paton Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:26PM
Can we add a link on the eventbrite page back to the EJFN EFF webpage (https://ecojustfoodnetwork.org/emergency-food-forum/) (Also, the eventbrite email looks great. I just received it).
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:21PM
nolan, can you create a facebook event? i can give you access to mailchimp and we can connect mailchimp with facebook - or you can give me access to facebook and i can do it.
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:19PM
i've sent out the mailchimp invite. here is the link if you want to use it: https://mailchi.mp/3a6eb95457a3/join-the-2021-emergency-food-forum.
josephine grey Wed 7 Apr 2021 6:41PM
630 -9 it is thanks all...
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 4:51PM
I agree it would be good to send out today. I think the initial plan was to send the invites out today, perhaps the poll was meant to close this morning instead?
BTW, I re-read the Eventbrite text and I put back in the bullet points with each Wednesday date and time. I really think that it is most clearly laid out that way. If there's strong objections I'll change it back, but for the visual learners I think it doesn't quite cut it otherwise.
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 4:04PM
so the poll is set to close tomorrow but do we want to wait that long before sending out the invites? it would be good to send it out today.
josephine grey Mon 12 Apr 2021 4:30AM
in call 2 image i think we should add UN Food Summit/Food Policy and maybe Urban Rural Farm/Food work
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:59PM
I've remade the images with the time adjustment, am replacing them on the Eventbrite, linked them in the EFF Images thread, dropped into the folder here: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/folders/1EEjiMVAG9LBdvrrYLbcX79xveaHjWSl4
Juan Carlos Jimenez Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:19AM
As to not go so late, and leave time for dinner. Thinking about families etc.
Petra hanzlik Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:19AM
Gut feeling as any time will not be perfect for all! Time for dinner, some time before bed? Lots of folks are burning candle on both ends and all day these Busy days. Have to make compelling sales pitch to draw them in-
“WHY is this so important 4 me and my community now?”
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:19AM
9:30pm end time is pushing it. it will be late already for day jobbers and parents. farmers may be dead tired at that point.
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:19AM
Honestly, I don't think anyone with a day-job will stay past 9pm for any event. When is the cut-off for decision-making though? Because I'm going to be updating all of the image materials to go out tomorrow AM so I'll need to know when this decision is made.
Poll Created Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:19AM
forum session timing- for farmers, parents, day job ppl Closed Wed 7 Apr 2021 7:16PM
So given that we want to send out the invite ASAP, that the majority of people have voted for 6:30-9pm, and that susanna has already changed the images and eventbrite, i am closing the poll and verifying the EFF session times as 6:30 - 9pm.
-
i think 2 and half hours with a 10 min break is better than two jammed hours

I could make a facebook event, but only through the St. James Town Coop..
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 3:10AM
Thanks Jo, I think that was from when we were going to do it that way. I removed that text so it wouldn't be so confusing.
Changing the ticket sales closing to the 21st.
Who is going to make the Facebook event? It should be made in the Eco Just Food Network FB account and can invite LFFC and other partners to be cohost. I just dropped the image for that one into the Images thread, but if the time changes I'll update it.
josephine grey Wed 7 Apr 2021 3:06AM
there was a line saying one must register for each session. Maybe that means get/find a link for each session.
Ticket sales closing the 21st could be good I know we can't mandate that ppl watch the opening just strongly suggest it. I hate playing catch up and wasting other ppls time.
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:39AM
I think it's a single registration for the entire event (event duration April 14-28th), at least that's what I experience when I click on the eventbrite. I can fix it so that ticket sales are done on April 21st at 10pm if you prefer it (I think this is a good idea, people will want to have the option to register once we have had one of the forums), right now it's set to only accept registrations until the first call on April 14th. I'm not sure what you mean by 'whoever joins late should watch the opening and see what's up first'. If you mean that they should watch a recording of the first video, we can send suggestions like this in the reminder email(s) before the 2nd and 3rd session, but I don't think there's a way to make it mandatory to do this.
josephine grey Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:26AM
so now they have to register for each forum? i thought we said they should for all three? i guess that's a tech issue? i like the content - not sure it should say 3 day series - 3 evening series is less confusing. we should not accept registrations past call 2 imo. And whoever joins late should watch the opening and see whats up first.
Susanna Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:08AM

I acknowledge that I am on the traditional territory of the Neutral Confederacy, Anishnaabeg, Haudenosaunee. The University of Waterloo is situated on the Haldimand Tract (1784), land promised to Six Nations including six miles on each side of the Grand River, which is an occupied territory. I have a responsibility to dismantle racism that I, as a Canadian citizen, have perpetuated and benefited from. I continue to seek understanding and to learn ways to engage decolonizing actions and movements. I commit to learning about the 94 TRC commitments, UNDRIP, and doing what I can to implement them.
Lily Wed 7 Apr 2021 2:01AM
if we want to use Miro boards in our breakout rooms, i can create a Miro board with different frames (one frame per break out room) and the facilitators can share the Miro board but each keep to their own frame (no trespassing!). that also has the advantage of having everything recorded in place.
the question is: can breakout rooms share screens separately from each other? something we can test during the tech run?

Hey all, as per Lily's suggestion here's the links to the Food Forum zoom links. All are hosted on the LFFC's Zoom account, created with waiting rooms so even if you click on the link you'll be in a waiting room until we start the event and let you in. We will have the Eventbrite set up shortly, which will be the official invite link to share with people. Please don't share the links below with anyone outside our organizing group at this time. If you do need to include the links below anywhere online please hyperlink them if possible to prevent unwanted zoom-bombing traffic.

hi all, for those who haven't yet, please review ( below) the invitation draft, registration survey, landing page ( i think we need a pwyc event brite as well) so we can finalize the invite tomorrow night and send it out wednesday am. Its only a week away from wednesday am i know, but many people have heard about the date and Carolynne is booked to open and close for us (and unavailable the 21st). I think we can manage to organize it and practice a tech run in time to be ready. Everyone on board is experienced and brilliant.
josephine grey Mon 5 Apr 2021 6:10PM
Nolan and I worked on the survey and pared it down - assuming we can ask questions during and after the forum - an exit/eval survey that also asks what people are/will be working on etc.

i made a folder on the google drive for the emergency food forum: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jePjkQu3gYlxZ_rAszxoxgaMohnF20gZ?usp=sharing. we can store all relevant EFF files there, for collaboration, use and sharing.

josephine grey Sat 3 Apr 2021 5:49PM
Carolynne Crawley confirmed to do the opening re the dish with one spoon covenant 15 minutes and the closing to bring it back into peoples minds 10 minutes. I can follow her at the beginning to explain the human right to food and why we use the HR framework to build solidarity and be effective in a very diverse group with a complex challenge.

Dragoș Sat 3 Apr 2021 6:53PM
wow I would love to hear about 100% of that sometime! 😍
josephine grey Sat 3 Apr 2021 5:53PM
i like that Dragos, ( i met and adored Zapatistas back in the day when we were involved in the hemispheric social alliance) we have the open letter from the last forum- which will be released at a media event shortly after. we will discuss advocacy and action throughout. The advocacy stream can easily can create a call to action based on that and chart a course for the UN summit process that pushes govts to comply or look really bad.... lol

Dragoș Sat 3 Apr 2021 1:43PM
been thinking a lot about that report jo posted and how we're trying to build this local and global solidarity -- also, i'm obsessed with the zapatistas and i'm reading this paper called "Zapatismo as a Resonant Public Pedagogy" which talks about why and how that movement captured the imagination of so many people around the world and inspired a real call to action for global anti-capitalist anti-neoliberal action
so i wanted to propose we try to create a call to action or call to solidarity for this movement -- to situate ourselves and this forum, all the folks and organizations who are going to be there, within a larger movement of forums and actions and organizations :)
could look like an activity in one of the breakout rooms or a larger activity with more folks involved where we collectively brainstorm a vision...i wasn't there last year so please feel free to just say no this wont work or this is not what this is about and i will not be offended at all lmao
Lily Sun 4 Apr 2021 1:09AM
where is that text?
josephine grey Sun 4 Apr 2021 12:24AM
maybe we can use the text i wrote about how last years forum turned into action as narrative on the landing page? with links?
Lily Sat 3 Apr 2021 6:25AM

josephine grey Fri 2 Apr 2021 3:37AM
Indeed...

Dragoș Thu 1 Apr 2021 8:14PM
"In this second scenario, civil society seizes the initiative, developing deeper, wider, and more effective collaborations than ever before. A Long Food Movement is in fact long in the making. From ongoing Indigenous struggles against colonization to the anti-globalization protests that gave rise to the concept of food sovereignty, it is clear that civil society – in its diversity of forms and scales of action – can be a powerful change-maker. Looking back at those experiences, it is possible to identify four basic ingredients that food movements will need in order to drive forward transformation over the next quarter century:
1) collaborating across multiple scales;
2) broadening alliances and restructuring relationships;
3) connecting long-range commitment to wide range ‘horizon scanning’; and
4) being ready for change and disruption."

This is an event 350.org is hosting free, 3 days (in a row) just before ours. May offer us ideas?
josephine grey Tue 23 Mar 2021 11:40PM
so far we have Local Farm and Food Co-op willing and able to co-host and manage the web platform for the forum, some St J co-p staff will assist, we can invite last years' participants, LFFC's list, St James Towns list, TUG- Toronto Urban Gardeners' list, the Black Food Toronto list, NFU local 305's list, i think Climate Fasts' and Drawdowns' lists.
re Agenda- We are thinking to share what came out of last years forum updates and identify challenges and opportunities- discuss actions and plans, and make ready for PR and media/advocacy strategies, and get people oriented to our platforms (basecamp, the EJFN website and loomio) over the 3 sessions.
I am thinking to hold the Open letter Press conference during or right after the Forum... that way we can discuss it at the forum so people are ready to promote it and add their voices via sm etc. your thoughts?
