Hopefully you can work it out - you can work out how much advertising per number of pages is needed to break even. At the moment we're getting in about £170 per month from membership, and the women's edition will be using two months worth of membership.

The idea proposed at the meeting was to have a 28 page newspaper with between 40 and 50% advertising. 12 colour plates (4 for our own content), 14-16 pages of our content. With ~40% advertising we break event, with ~50 advertising we make £140 to either pay distributors/to go towards next issue.

In an attempt to keep things tidy I've also created a spreadsheet to keep track of who is approached and what adverts we get.
