Having an accessible google doc definitely helped when we started rotating core team members.

Rotating hosts every week Closed Mon 9 Jan 2017 4:01AM
We are now actively rotating hosts for all 2017 hack night meetings. There is a Google document available if you would like to sign up linked in the thread; or you can ask a Code for Miami Captain or Lead if you'd like to host the meeting.
Per Lisa's thread, this would be a proposal to rotate hosts every week. I've put up a Google document here - if you're able/willing to host, feel free to add yourself.
You may host with someone else if that's more comfortable. If you don't feel comfortable hosting or it brings you anxiety, that's okay too - just choose "agree" or "abstain" to acknowledge you've seen this proposal. You may also trade off with someone else if it works better.
I've added Susan and FIU who mentioned they wanted to host the last Monday of every month.

Takes the load off one person and gives everyone a chance to lead.

I've updated our meetup events section for the upcoming year: https://www.meetup.com/Code-for-Miami/events/
I'll adjust the spreadsheet for holidays. Once we get more of the schedule blocked together I'll send out calendar invites to each host.

I think this is a fine idea. I would be willing to step in for the last meeting of the month.
