Global Giving Partnership Opportunity

ZM Zico Maharaj Public Seen by 79

Hey Guys,

Global Giving have a window currently open, during which they are taking on new nonprofit partners.

...."GlobalGiving is the largest global crowdfunding community connecting nonprofits, donors, and companies in nearly every country. We help nonprofits from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe (and hundreds of places in between) access the tools, training, and support they need to be more effective and make our world a better place"...

This venture would not only ensure additional avenues for funding, but also the added "marketing" benefits. I believe that a partnership with Global Giving would provide an additional platform to increase exposure and awareness, while concurrently increasing access to donor funding. I really feel that e-Nable can grow tremendously if partnered with Global Giving.

The Global Giving Website is as follows:
https://www.globalgiving.org/

The application process doesn't seem too daunting. You first create an account then complete the online application. To do this you need access to financial information and organisation history- this info may need to be uploaded (I'm not too clued up with it but it seems fairly straight forward)

I hope this information is useful!

Hey Patrick, thanks for the feedback. I really do agree with your other comment regarding the "marketing" benefits.

Also they are linked to numerous big foundations- as a partner of Global Giving it would give us leverage to approach these foundations for funding. In my experience I have seen that most foundations have their own format or template when requesting funding- perhaps it would be wise to further investigate these.

In my professional capacity I am constantly advising and consulting to government- often with regard to the acquisition of grant funding for projects or programs and the implementation thereof. In South Africa our government source a lot of international grant funding for development projects.

With these resources at my disposal I am busy trying to "find out" how we could access funding to develop "e-Nable clinics" or something of the sort to serve rural and disadvantaged communities in the country which can hopefully expand further into Africa. These clinics could also provide training for youth in the community. This will take me a bit of time but I am completely dedicated to this cause! I will keep you guys updated!
