Group links don't include subdomain in URL
I've noticed that when I view my dashboard remotely with through DDNS the URL of the groups does not include the subdomain eg xxx.yyy.com/group-url/ is instead yyy.com/group-url/
This does not appear so for the discussion URLs, they come out correctly as xxx.yyy.com/discussion-url/
I think I've fixed some of the behaviour in the dialects branch. There is a couple of issues with subdomains though. We'll need to check back on this when dialects is merged.
Thanks for the heads up @jessebufton
I observe same problem. I set system environment variable to TLD_LENGTH=4 and group links use only 2nd level domain.
I checked environment variables of the foreman process and TLD_LENGTH was set to 4.
Could you tell me how to verify the TLD_LENGTH of the foreman process?
i have the same problem i have installed loomio in a public server useing passenger and apache (but in a subdomain). now i'm stucked on that issue and i dont know how to get rid of that
i was able to set the TLD_LENGHT eviroment var in passenger using apache setEnv and now render_to work correctly.
<Directory /path>
AllowOverride All
Order allow,deny
Allow from All
PassengerRuby /usr/local/rvm/gems/ruby-2.1.2/wrappers/ruby
SetEnv TLD_LENGTH 4
</Directory>
Just a guess, but you might need to set ENV['TLD_LENGTH'] - @robertguthrie can you advise on this one?
