Open Collective review
Open Collective is how our members contribute to Social.coop, the platform however is starting to integrate with Thiel backed Persona (huge privacy concerns)

Hi. Graham here from Platform 6. Just to let people know that we have also just become aware of this issue. We won't be asking people to use this Persona KYC thing. It looks like the Open Collective platform people may not have done their due diligence here, likewise the Open Source Collective host, and that's unfortunate. Rest assured that we'll be following this closely.

At @RTM we use open collective as well and this prompts us to reconsider/evaluate.
@Graham I'm glad that Plaform 6 is following this closely, if you're taking action please share back, I'm certainly interested in stopping this from happening if there is a way (even if it's not mandatory or won't impact us at social.coop, it's a decision of poor taste and we should partner with organizations that share our commitments)

OC just came with a response, to halt the use of Persona. <https://opencollective.com/opensource/updates/on-kyc-checks-and-persona>

Seems like it is not mandatory and it would have to be activated by the fiscal host, in our case Platform 6. Potentially, as well as sending emails to oc, the coop could contact platform 6.
